Who is Halston? Halston was born Roy Halston Frowick and became one of America’s most recognizable fashion designers. He was a fashion designer who highlighted the splendor and style of disco. In the 1970s, he came out with his halter jersey, Ultrasuede shirtwaist dresses, and smooth jumpsuits. His small, intricate designs made Halston a household name. And they were dresses to wear among his rich Halstonettes.It was 1972, the time of the Easter Offensive, in Vietnam.
